I remember the first time I put on a pair of Demonias.
The platform stacked so high I felt like I was on stilts!
But the studs, the straps, the badass vibe – I was instantly hooked.
Since then, my Demonias have been well-worn companions at festivals, shows, and just cruising the streets.
But a girl needs options, so I’ve been on the hunt for other killer brands with a similar dark aesthetic.
And lemme tell ya – I’ve found some real gems.
In this post, I’ll run down my top brands that give Demonias a run for their money in the goth and alternative style departments.
You won’t want to miss these options if you’re looking to expand your dark wardrobe beyond the classic Demonias.🖤👢🦇
New Rock
New Rock is famous for their over-the-top, no holds barred platform boots.
I mean these boots got platform soles that could give you like six inches or more of height.
Last Halloween I wore a pair of the New Rock’s tallest platforms to a costume party downtown.
The platforms were solid black leather with strappy criss-cross laces up the front.
I teamed them with a short lace dress and some exaggerated six-inch stripper heels.
By the time I added the platforms I was literally towering over my girlfriends who were in normal heels.
It took me like 5 minutes just to navigate down the stairs into the subway in those things!
But man, once I got to the party I definitely felt like the vampiest one there.
All the other guests were craning their necks to check out my killer platforms.
I even had some people ask me where I got them because they wanted a pair for themselves.
Of course I told them to hit up New Rock’s website since that’s really the spot to get outrageous platform boots.
If you want to stand out in a crowd and feel like the height queen then you can’t go wrong with New Rock.
I’ll definitely be shopping them again when I want to make a major statement with my footwear.
Nothing screams goth queen like strutting around in sky-high New Rock platforms if you ask me.
Dollskill
If you love Demonia’s edgy punk rock aesthetic, Dollskill is your jam.
This digital boutique offers tons of alternative styles from babydoll dresses to chained harnesses perfect for the mosh pit.
For wicked shoes, check out their towering Malice-10 Boots or Rampage-10 Demonia dupes.
The Rampage style has a 5.
5″ chunky heel, O-ring accents, and bold platform like Demonia’s Sinister style.
But they’re under $60 compared to $100+ for Demonia!
Dollskill also has free U.
S.shipping and returns, which is clutch.
Another Demonia alternative at Dollskill is their Krush Cheetah Creepers.
The animal print and thick platform outsole scream Demonia vibes.
Extra perks are the front lace detail and 1.
25″ built-in platform hidden in the heel.
Slip these on with a dark minidress or skater skirt for a glam punk look.
I always browse Dollskill first when I’m craving creepers and edgy goth style on a budget.
One tip when shopping Dollskill – don’t wait if you see something you like!
Their inventory goes quickly with new drops selling out fast.
I’ve learned to snag items right away or risk missing out.
Their limited edition collaborations like the Bridgette Bareit Platform Boots disappear immediately!
Dollskill also just launched their own killer Demonia dupes called the Sky High Platform Boots.
These have a 6.
5″ heel, bold lug sole, and wicked cool snake embossed vegan leather.
Lip Service
Veteran punk rock brand Lip Service has been serving sinister style since 1993 with their tongue-in-cheek graphic tees and sexy fitted dresses.
If you want unique creepers like Demonia’s Demonica style, check out Lip Service’s Tempest Platform Boots.
They have a cyber goth vibe with vegan leather flame details, steel hardware, and a thick 5.
5″ sole.
Slip them on with trouser socks and an edgy Little Death backpack for a killer look.
Another great Demonia alternative from Lip Service is their Curb Stomp platform Oxfords.
The exaggerated flared sole and lace-up front are so reminiscent of Demonia’s Daisy-10 style.
Extra bonus – the Curb Stomp design is vegan so no leather necessary!
Pair them with Lip Service’s celestial printed Weird Science Dress for a cute creepy moment.
One thing I love about Lip Service is they offer inclusive sizing from XS-4X.
It’s rare to find extended plus sizes in niche alt brands, so kudos to them!
I always check Lip Service first for their unique creepers and witchy vibes in all sizes.
Their products have clever names like the Devil’s Playground bodysuit and Evil Genius dress.
And the details like pyramid studs, dagger pendants, and bold zips channels Demonia energy.
Iron Fist
Fellow punk rock mavens, say hello to Iron Fist.
This Aussie brand has been bringing the heavy metal thunder since 1998 with their creepy cute aesthetic.
If you’re seeking a Demonia alternative with skulls, bats, and edgy details, Iron Fist delivers.
Check out their hot pink Crackle Skull platform sneakers with exaggerated outsole and cool holographic accents.
Pair them with black skinny jeans and a Ghostbusters tee for a creepy casual lewk.
At under $100, these make a fabulous goth-lite statement on a budget.
For Demonia-esque boots, Iron Fist’s Kill Star Platform Boots rule.
They feature a sky-high 6.
5″ platform heel, silver star studs, and lace-up front detail.
The distressed vegan leather is so cool and witchy.
I like to style them with an Iron Fist Nightshade Mini Dress and chunky pentagram choker.
Iron Fist’s designs nail that punk pin-up vibe for less.
One pro tip – Iron Fist offers Afterpay installment payments on orders $35+ in the U.S.
This makes their goth platforms much more affordable split into 4 interest-free payments rather than one lump sum.
So you can rock Iron Fist’s Threadbare Trainer creepers or Roadkill wedges without blowing your budget all at once.
Their creepy themes and motifs like sugar skulls, bats, and studs make Iron Fist a fantastic Demonia cousin.
Rude
Fellow goth babes, if you adore Demonia’s bold platform boots, say hey to Rude.
The UK brand launched in 1993 and serves sinister glam and punk vibes with studs for days.
Step into the commanding Lock-14 boots and experience a 7″ stacked heel, edgy ankle cuff, and badass pyramid studs aplenty.
Pair them with fishnets and a cargo mini for a dominatrix look Rude gal style.
Another stellar Demonia alternative from Rude is their Gothika-20 boots.
The partially holographic silver vegan leather is a cool cyber goth touch.
And the exaggerated lug sole and front platform provide that stomp-worthy lift.
These make a fantastic statement piece to wear with an all-black ensemble and kohl-rimmed eyes.
One thing I appreciate about Rude is their use of vegan leather and sustainable rubber in their heels and soles.
Most Demonia styles feature leather and PVC, so Rude is a more eco-friendly choice for the ethical goth.
Grab their vegan Darth boots and Punk-20 platforms to unleash your dark side sustainably.
Rude’s bold stud details, massive platforms, and dark motifs like crosses and widows’ peaks give off major Demonia energy.
YRU
Fellow pastel goths and kawaii creatures, let me introduce you to YRU.
This LA-based shoe brand brings fairy kei vibes with their hyper platforms decked out in holographs, chains, and shrink-wrapped toys.
Their Quantum Demonia dupes feature a translucent 6.

Style them with purple socks and a Baby Yoda tee for a cute creep look.
For a fun casual option, YRU’s Curve platform sneakers rule.
They have a 3″ rainbow outsole and come in pastel shades like lavender and baby pink.
The curved sole provides a super comfortable walking experience.
And they just look so bubbly and happy!
YRU proves you can be simultaneously creepy and cute.
One thing I appreciate about YRU is their sustainability efforts.
Their materials include recycled plastic, natural rubber and vegan leather.
Grab their popular Dakini and Dali dupes to accessorize your coords and J-fashion dresses guilt-free.
YRU perfectly blends creepy and kawaii with their doll heart heels, banana shoes, and candy coated platforms.
Harajuku girls – these are made for you!
Hell Bunny
Calling all retro vampires and pin-up ghouls – say hi to Hell Bunny!
This UK brand launched in 2005 and serves up creepy vintage inspired styles for alternative dolls.
Known for their throwback dresses, Hell Bunny also makes some stellar shoes like their Talon-10 Demonia dupes.
These oxfords feature a lace-up front, exaggerated creep sole, and wicked bat wing details on the back.
At under $100, they deliver the vintage creeper vibe without breaking your coffin bank.
For Demonia-worthy boots, check out Hell Bunny’s Vicious Viking style.
It has a stacked wood heel, cool side buckles, and bold silver studs up the back for a bit of edge.
These look killer with Hell Bunny’s skull print Peggy dress.
Hell Bunny perfectly balances retro pin-up silhouettes with gothic and punk accents.
So you get a one-stop shop for your entire freaky look.
One thing I love is that Hell Bunny incorporates stealthy details like spiderweb prints, bat wings, and crossbones into otherwise sweet vintage pieces.
It adds a touch of darkness while still being office appropriate.
Ideal for ghouls who want to channel Morticia Addams in their 9-5 cubicle scheme.
Charade
If you love avant-garde vibes with your goth style, say bonjour to French brand Charade.
They create unique handmade shoes using vegan leather, crepe, and plexi.
Known for their artsy vibe and bold architectural shapes, Charade makes an artistic alternative to mainstream brands like Demonia.
A standout style is their Scary Vegan Wedges, which feature a 6.
5” transparent heel and vegan leather spiderweb lattice work.
So cool and unexpected!
Pair these with a drapey Ann Demeulemeester frock for a glam goth art babe moment.
For boots, check out their thigh-high PVC Phantome style with its signature blood red sole peeking through lace-up slashes.
So sleek and sexy!
Prices for Charade’s designs range from $200 for mules up to $1000+ for intricately crafted boots.

Platform boots like the X20 feature bold lacing and an air cushioned 6.
5” heel, while still being lightweight enough to dance in for hours.

T.U.K.
does that balance so well with their menagerie of critter-themed pieces.
Last Halloween I went all out on their spiderweb print coords since spiders are my favorite spooky creature.
The blazer, leggings, and booties I scored were trimmed in sparkly black trim too.
Paired with some dramatic makeup I felt totally transformed into an arachnid queen.
Even beyond Halloween their spooky animal pieces are just too fun to pass up.
A few weeks ago I snatched up a pair of velvet loafer-heels covered in prancing foxes.
T.U.K.
manages to make macabre motives feel playful and girly without losing any edge.
Whether I want some creepy cuteness or just a statement piece, they’re a great quirky option.
Tripp NYC
Floral prints get a dark twist at Tripp NYC.
Pair their ankle boots embroidered with roses and skull caps with lacy socks for goth meets grrl vibes.
Grunge glam is my shit, not gonna lie.
Last winter Tripp launched a collection with intricate floral patterns and jet black backgrounds.
I fell hard for the harness-detailed boots bursting with blooms and vines.
Topped off with Tripp’s signature spikedPlatforms they were just begging to be worn.
Throughout the cold months those boots kept my feet toasty whether at shows or exploring Chinese garden.
Something about the morbid florals feels so on brand for my juxtaposed goth street style.
Tripp is hands down the spot for unique pieces that toe the line between dark and delicate.
Killstar
This brand has everything – shoes, clothes, accessories, you name it.
Great for stocking your whole gothic wardrobe without leaving their site.
Their shoes lean more punk/industrial but still give off serious dark vibes.
Killstar has totally revamped my closet over the past year, no joke.

Before I know it I’ve got like seven things in my cart and am mashing that checkout button.

Last month I ordered four new tops, two pairs of leggings, a mini skort, and these superfly lace-up boots.

Even though I’ve worn them constantly they still look brand new since the materials are bomb.

Avirex
Cold weather calls for some stompy combat boots, and Avirex delivers.
Rugged leather and hardware for when you want an edgy look that can take some abuse.
Warm too with thick socks.
Last winter was bombastic here in NYC with major snow storms every other week, felt like.
Shoveling drifting snow and slipping on ice is no joke in regular shoes, trust.
So when November hit I knew I needed a serious winter boot to keep my feet protected.
After scoping out my options I settled on a pair of Avirex’s biker-inspired boots.
The leather was this sick olive green and came almost to my knee with beefy zippers up the sides.
The lug sole was thick as hell which was clutch on the icy sidewalks.
No matter how many walks to the bodega or subway treks I made, those Avirex boots kept my toes toasty.
They honestly lasted me the whole season which is crazy considering the wear and tear from the garbage winter.
Now they’ve proven themselves as a trustworthy option whenever heavy snow is in the forecast.
Undead
“Gothic rebellion in every step” and they deliver big time.
From chunky soles with zippers to lace-up thigh-high styles, their shoes are guaranteed to make an entrance.

Finally this spring I treated myself to the boots I’d been lusting after for so long.
</
Finally this spring I treated myself to the boots I’d been lusting after for so long.
They were a black patent platform pair with zippers up the sides and my favorite band’s logo embossed on the heel.
As soon as I opened the shipping box and pulled those babies out I was in love.
The platforms gave me a killer height boost without compromise on stability or support.
I rocked them nonstop all through the sunny months, whether I was hitting up shows or lounging in the park.
Their website constantly keeps me coming back to scope new launches too.
I’m always excited to treat myself to a Undead piece since I know it’ll become a staple in my wardrobe for years.
If you want boots that are as cool, dark, and unique as you are then Undead has to be at the top of your list.
Everything they create is next-level goth and such high quality for the price point too.
Just admiring the shots of their shoes on their feed is enough to get me hyped, honestly.
You really can’t go wrong investing in a couple statement pieces from this incredible brand.
Their aesthetic grabs me every time and I can’t wait to add more Undead to my collection in the future.
Ego Official
Skews a bit hip hop but their platforms have plenty of studs, buckles, and aggressive soles.
Great if you want to add an industrial twist to your streetwear.
I’ve always loved how androgynous, in-your-face styles flow between punk, hip hop, and streetwear.
Ego Official is really good at capturing that confrontational yet cool aesthetic.
A few months back I came across their website after seeing some hype beast wearing a pair of their platforms.
The pair that caught my eye had heavy soles with built-in tire tread and were literally held together with padlocks and chains.
Total apocalyptic cybergoth vibes and I was very here for it.
Even though none of my other shoes come close style-wise, those platforms always pump me up to take risks.
If you want something different, a little terrifying even, then Ego Official is calling your name.
Noctex
With their line of coffin-shaped bags, Noctex takes goth accessories to new heights.
But they also have sleek ankle boots perfect for every ghoul on the go.
Accessories totally make the outfit, if you ask me.
Last year Noctex dropped a collection centered around vintage funeral parlor vibes.
The colors were this muted lavender and forest green palette with rose gold hardware.
I snatched up the matching sling bag and booties without a second thought.
The boots had an architectural heel that slammed the edgy floral print trend.
As for the bag, let’s just say all my friends were dying to know where I copped a literal coffin purse.
Noctex nails that balance of dark and feminine that I love to play with in my style.
Even if I’m not in the market, their feeds are always inspo for new color stories and unique silhouettes.
