Today I want to talk about cool alternatives for those of us who adore Bershka’s trendy and affordable clothes but want to branch out and discover new places to shop.
There are so many awesome brands with that hip Bershka vibe that definitely deserve to be on your radar!
I still remember the first time I walked into a Bershka store years ago – I was immediately drawn to their super cute and stylish pieces, but without the outrageous price tags you see at high-end boutiques.
It spoke right to my wallet AND my fashion sense! But over time, a girl needs variety.
So I’ve made it my mission to uncover fun new stores where I can continue to get my fix of trendy threads that won’t break the bank. Let me be your guide to my fave finds!
Mango
Mango is a total go-to for chic and modern clothing and accessories inspired by European style.
Prices are affordable, they offer a ton of selection, and new inventory arrives frequently so you’ll always find fresh fashion when you shop.
I especially love their dresses, coats, shoes, and jewelry!
Some of my favorite recent purchases include a belted trench coat in a gorgeous camel color that looks straight off a Parisian runway, a silky floral print midi dress that’s perfect for date nights, metallic gold mules that instantly dress up any outfit, and a few dainty necklaces with charming pendants that add a delicate detail.
The quality and fit of their pieces is really consistent, and they use nice fabrics that drape beautifully. Mango’s aesthetic is definitely more refined than fast fashion, with timeless elegant silhouettes, so the clothes have longevity in your closet.
But it’s still very approachable and wearable for everyday. Their color palette is dominated by classic neutrals like black, navy, tan, grey, and white, with pops of on-trend hues like lilac, sage green, and rich burgundies.
Lots of pretty florals and feminine details too for a romantic vibe. I’d describe their target demographic as 20 and 30-something professional women with a blended European minimalist-boho aesthetic.
If you love brands like Cos, Sandro, and Ba&sh but find them out of budget, Mango is an awesome affordable alternative.
Zara
You can’t talk fashion without mentioning Zara! They are known for speedy production to keep up with the latest catwalk trends.
I’m addicted to their cute printed tops, cool leather jackets, and gorgeous bags. Warning: it’s easy to overspend here because everything is just so darn cute.
Some of my recent obsessions include a cropped floral puff sleeve blouse that feels straight off the Gucci runway, an oversized gray plaid blazer that instantly makes any outfit feel more stylish, and a quilted black leather crossbody bag that fits all my essentials and elevates my look.
Zara’s inventory changes rapidly, sometimes weekly or even daily, so there’s always a reason to check back and see what’s new.
They manage to take high fashion trends and adapt them in a fun, wearable way for the average shopper.
You’ll spot lots of on-trend details like puff sleeves, ruched dresses, polka dots, metallics, and novelty prints.
The color palette trends dark and moody in the fall with rich greens, burgundies and neutrals, and lightens up in spring with pretty pastels, florals and gingham prints.
The quality can be hit or miss since it’s fast fashion, so focus on well-made staple pieces over very trendy items. I’d recommend Zara for trendy 20-somethings and teens who want of-the-moment style on a budget.
Asos
Asos has become my new obsession for stylish clothes and accessories with a young, edgy vibe. Not only do they have their own affordable line, but they also stock tons of brands like Adidas, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, and more.
I can browse for hours and always walk away with some fresh new finds for my closet! Lately I’ve been loving their oversized graphic tee’s, like an N.W.A. one and a Billie Eilish long sleeve, that add an instant cool factor to jeans and sneakers.
Their faux leather moto pants are totally trendy for nights out while being comfy enough for daytime. And they have the cutest jewelry – I recently snagged some chunky gold hoops, a padlock necklace, and a pack of stacking rings.
Asos’ own line offers trendy pieces at unbeatable prices, and they have tall, petite and plus size options too.
You’ll find more adventurous styles here than typical high street retailers. I’d describe the Asos vibe as hip, artsy and edgy – lots of bold prints, sequins, brights and metallics. Expect to see clubwear, stylish activewear and festival fashion alongside elevated basics.
There are new arrivals daily, so the stock is constantly fresh and exciting. Asos is definitely a go-to for trend-focused shoppers in their teens, 20s and beyond!
Topshop
Across the pond, Topshop is a major player in the UK fast fashion scene. Their clothes have that cool British style that’s spot-on for recreating those model off-duty vibes.
I especially love their shoes, denim, and going-out tops and dresses. And the prices are so good! Topshop is my first stop when I want to stock up on on-trend denim that actually flatters – they do skinny and flare silhouettes so well in a range of washes.
I’m obsessed with the Joni style right now. And their fitted wrap dresses and silky cami tops are perfect for stepping up my night-out looks without overspending.
Some recent faves include a black faux leather jacket with a boxy cropped fit, the perfect vintage acid wash jeans, and a few lacy tank tops perfect for layering.
Topshop experiments more with edgy punk inspired styles than typical high street retailers. You’ll see lots of leather, mesh, hardware details and mixed prints. Expect to spot trends worn by celebs like Bella Hadid.
Their petite and tall sizes are helpful when clothes shopping. Topshop is best suited for trendy teens and 20-somethings who want of-the-moment British style on a budget.
Forever 21
You can’t forget about Forever 21 – it’s a classic budget-friendly retailer where I’ve been shopping since my teen years! It’s still one of my go-tos when I need a quick fashion fix. Their accessories are always on-point, especially jewelry, handbags, and shades.
Hit up this spot for of-the-moment pieces that won’t break the bank. Whenever I need super stylish accessories STAT, Forever 21 is my first stop. Their jewelry selection is amazing, with tons of delicate layered necklaces, hoops in every size, hair clips galore, and stacks of fun rings.
And they have a roomy tote in literally every pattern – florals, polka dots, leopard and more – for under $20.
I also love their sunglass selection – you can get 10 pairs for the price other retailers charge for one. Sure, the quality isn’t the best, but it lets you try out trends risk-free.
Clothing-wise, I tend to shop their graphic tees, puff sleeve tops, bike shorts and leather items. The styles are youthful, playful and bold, lots of bright colors, sequins, tie dye prints and novelty graphics.
Forever 21 works best for teens and 20-somethings who want fun, trendy fashion at rock-bottom prices – just don’t expect pieces to last forever.
H&M
H&M is another staple that I just can’t quit. Especially their Divided collection that targets a younger demographic – it has all of those fun, bold prints, edgy details, and trendy silhouettes that speak to my personal style.
And I appreciate that they are making efforts towards more sustainable fashion! My current H&M loves include a silky leopard print midi skirt that makes me feel so glam, an oversized gray blazer I’ve worn nonstop, and a pair of faux leather leggings that look way pricier than they were.
I also stock up on affordable basics like bodysuits, tank tops, cardigans and tees to mix and match. H&M collections encompass a really wide range – the main line is more refined and minimalist, while Divided packs more of an edgy punch.
Lots of fast fashion staples like jeggings, faux leather, sweatsuits and oversized blazers.
Their Conscious collection focuses on sustainability using recycled fabrics and organic cottons. I’d say H&M’s range appeals to a wide demographic in their teens through 40s who want both timeless essentials and trendy statement pieces. The prices just can’t be beat!
Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters deserves a spot on this list for their cool eclectic vibe. They offer a mix of boho, edgy, hipster, and retro styles that always feels fresh and inspired. I love browsing their unique dresses, jackets, and accessories that infuse a little artful edge into my outfits.
UO is my go-to for finding that perfect festival-ready maxi dress – I live for their airy boho prints, lace accents, smocked tops and tassel trim. Their outerwear selection is amazing too – recently I snagged an oversized fuzzy pastel jacket and a vintage-inspired embroidered denim number.
And you can’t go wrong with their graphic tees and tanks featuring art, movies, bands, etc. – instant coolness! Lots of pieces have a 90s retro vibe with mom jeans, slip dresses, chunky sneakers and band merch. The color palette trends more muted and earthy.
And there’s usually a solid selection of items for guys too. Overall the Urban Outfitters aesthetic is hipster, artsy and music-influenced. I’d recommend it for free-spirited boho gals (and guys) in their late teens through 30s.
Missguided
Across the pond, Missguided is making major waves as a leading UK e-tailer for of-the-moment fashion. Their clothes have that fun, flirty, and sexy vibe that the British do so well.
And they ship quickly to the US which I appreciate! I’m loving their going-out dresses and swimwear in particular. Missguided’s bandage and bodycon dresses, like a red cowl neck mini I recently rocked, are super flattering while still being bold and on-trend.
And their bikini selection is just unreal – so many cute prints, details like rings, cutouts and ties, and so affordable. I also love their loungewear like leggings and tracksuits – like the pastel lavender set I’m currently living in, it’s so comfy while still looking stylish.
You’ll find dresses for every occasion: super glam, mesh and sequin looks for clubbing; romantic florals and ruffles for daytime dates; and casual t-shirt styles for brunch.
Missguided really embraces sexy, daring trends for confident babes. I’d recommend this UK gem for fashion-forward girls and young women looking for fun, flirty style.

Nasty Gal has such a cool, edgy look with a vintage twist. They are all about empowering gals to embrace their inner badass! I obsess over their faux leather pants, bold prints, and statement jackets that add an instant cool factor to any outfit.
Plus sizes are available too which is amazing. Nasty Gal fully captures that retro 90s supermodel off-duty vibe – lots of slip dresses, oversized blazers, mom jeans, band tees, boots and statement shades. I recently grabbed a pair of dark wide-leg denim layered over a Nirvana tee and felt so chic yet edgy.
Their faux leather pieces are always amazing too – moto jackets, pants, skirts and more, like the plum leather trench I’ve been rocking.
Lots of corset and bustier tops add a daring edge. You’ll also find trendy loungewear like their velour tracksuits and tie dye sets I can’t get enough of.
Nasty Gal nails that mix of retro and modern. I’d recommend it for edgy boho babes who aren’t afraid to make a statement!

Boohoo is another great UK brand, especially for glam going-out looks and vacation vibes. I always find cute, trendy stuff for nights out on the town, from mini dresses to crop tops and sequins galore! And their bikinis and cover-ups are so fun for beach getaways.
Totally playful and flirty style. Boohoo is a goldmine for nights out and vacay if you love to sparkle! Their sequin wrap dresses, metallic minis and silky cami bodysuits are perfect for hitting the club while showing off your unique style.

That signature Guess vibe never goes out of style! Guess denim has unbeatable stretch and a flattering contoured fit – I love their high-rise skinnies and cropped flares. And they use luxe fabrics like silky satins and faux leathers for their iconic moto jackets and minidresses.
A few staples I wear on repeat are a classic blue skinny jean, a shimmery champagne wrap mini, and a cropped black biker jacket. Lots of skin-tight and curve-hugging silhouettes, mixed with edgy details like lace-up accents and mesh panels.
