As a lifelong cowgirl, I’ve spent many weekends boot shoppin’ at my favorite store – Boot Barn.
But I’ve explored their aisles so many times, I’ve about memorized where everything is.
So I set out to find some new honky tonks that would give Boot Barn a run for its money.
And giddyup, did I hit the jackpot!
I found 15+ amazing stores that are just like Boot Barn, satisfyin’ all your western wear needs:
Boot Barn “Sisters” : Photo Gallery
Billy Reid
The first place I wandered into was Billy Reid in downtown Nashville.
Steppin’ inside was like enterin’ a saloon – it just oozed Southern charm.
Right up front they had a big selection of button-downs, flannels, and shirts perfect for pairin’ with your favorite jeans.
I spent a long time mullin’ over all the plaid patterns – I swear there was at least 40 unique designs!
In the back, they had a nice selection of boots from Lucchese, Justin, and Tony Lama.
My favorite part was their hat displays though – every style you could imagine from straw cowboys to felt fedoras.
I tried on at least a dozen until I found the perfect cream-colored Resistol that suited my features.
The prices were definitely higher than Boot Barn, but you can tell these duds are made to last.
I walked outta there feelin’ like a million bucks in my new getup!
Olathe Boots
No true western boot aficionado is complete without stoppin’ by legendary Olathe.
That’s why I made a pilgrimage to their workshop and store in Colorado.
Steppin’ inside was like enterin’ a world of leather craftsmanship – you could feel the history in the worn wood floors and smells of dyes and waxes.
I spent hours mullin’ over made-right-there styles in every color imaginable.
My heart belonged to a pair of knee high pull-ons covered in allover floral embossing, truly works of art.
Before leavin’, I made sure to learn all about their bespoke process too.

Up front, the attention is rightfully on their amazing selection of guitars.
But go a little deeper and you’ll find their western wear section.
