Finding the perfect swimsuit can be torture. I’m that girl who tries on every style and still can’t seem to find “the one”.
My dream swimsuit needs to be cute but functional for swimming and playing volleyball. The minute I find something I like, the company stops making it! That happened with my beloved Youswim.
I loved their custom sizing and fun mix-and-match prints, but they went under last year.
What’s a girl to do?!
After endless online shopping and dressing room disasters, I found a few great brands giving me the Youswim vibe.
After a swimsuit odyssey of online shopping and dressing room meltdowns, I finally found a few amazing brands that give me the same vibe as Youswim.
I’m sharing all my fab finds below:
Summersalt
Summersalt makes the cutest suits with fun prints and colors. Their fabrics are designed for chlorine-resistance, quick-drying, and shape retention.
I’m obsessed with their Sidestroke style – it’s perfect for swimming laps but still super stylish.
I wore it last weekend at the pool and got so many compliments! The top has soft cups with darts that shape to your bust, and the bottoms sit mid-rise for tummy control.
The colorblocked panels are slimming too. They also have cool tech features like UPF 50+, antimicrobial fabric, and interlock stitching that stays put while swimming.
I got the pink floral print, but they have solids and geometric designs too. Summersalt is definitely my new go-to for functional swimwear that’s still bombshell sexy!
Andie Swim
Andie Swim is amazing because you can fully customize your tops and bottoms for a perfect fit. Mix and match solids, textures, and prints just like Youswim did.
I’m loving their high-neck bikini tops and cheeky bottoms for volleyball lately. For the top, you can customize your band and cup size, plus add removable pads if you want.
The bottoms come in low, mid, and high rises so you pick what suits your body best.
I did a cute ivory ribbed top with mid-rise bottoms in a floral print. FYI their neoprene fabric is completely chlorine-proof and retains its stretchiness.
Andie Swim is all about celebrating every body. They even use real women models of all sizes to inspire customers. Girl power!
L*Space
L*Space makes the most trendy, sexy swimwear out there. Their suits have cool cut-outs, hardware details, and fabrics like neoprene and ribbed for texture.
The Tory High-Neck Bikini is so on-trend right now with its retro 90s vibes. I love the sporty racerback silhouette combined with the sexy high-neck – it’s the perfect balance. The ribbed fabric is super flattering and sucks everything in.
And the hardware rings add a trendy touch. Another L*Space style I adore is the Jada One Piece. It has a plunging V-neck and low scoop back for a bombshell look.
But the suits are made for movement too with features like elastic straps, internal bra cups with light padding, and quick-drying fabric. L*Space 100% keeps you looking hot even at a pool party!
Triangl
Triangl’s neon, color-blocked swimsuits are so fun and flirty. Their neoprene fabric molds perfectly to your shape and holds everything in.
Plus it dries in a flash. I’m obsessed with their Izabela High-Waisted Bottom in bright tangerine orange. It looks amazing against sun-kissed skin!
The ruching is super flattering on the booty too. And the high waist provides tummy control and shaping. Another vibrant Triangl suit I love is the Cherrelle Bikini.
It has a bold mustard yellow top with an abstract pattern.
The matching low-rise bottoms are colorblocked in orange and fuchsia – so summery and tropical! Triangl’s bold hues and playful silhouettes are ideal for vacays, boats, and rooftop parties.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A creates those luxurious, celeb-worthy swimsuits I lust after. Their fabrics are super soft and bombshell-level flattering.
A Vitamin A suit is definitely an investment splurge, but so worth it. My current obsession is their Twist Bandeau Bikini Top.
The twisted fabric looks gorgeous against the skin and creates a super sexy shape. I like to pair it with their low-rise bottoms for a sultry look.
The fabrics Vitamin A uses also contain Lycra elastic that moves with your body. And they use premium hardware that won’t corrode in the pool or ocean.
If you want a swimsuit to make a statement, go with Vitamin A! I like to save mine for tropical getaways and Yacht week.
Frankies Bikinis
Frankies Bikinis makes the most playful, youthful swimwear with their tie-dye prints and cool patterns. I’m loving their high-waisted and side-tie bottoms this season.
The shapes create a flirty peek of skin while still keeping you covered enough to be active.
Like their Blake underwire bikini – it has a fun cherry pattern but the top still provides ample support with padding, underwire, adjustable straps, and a hook closure.
The matching bottoms have side cutouts for a hint of skin. Frankies’ suits are made from fabrics that resist chlorine, saltwater, UV rays, pilling, and fading too. So they transition seamlessly from the surf to the sand.
Monday Swimwear
Monday Swimwear is all about a super flattering, supportive fit.
They use unique fabrics with 4-way stretch for comfort and flexibility. The Georgia Top is one of my new faves – it has molded underwire cups for lift and shaping.
The straps are convertible too, so you can wear it as a halter or regular bikini. I like the tummy control lining in their bottoms as well.
It smooths without feeling too compressive. Monday Swimwear also pays close attention to design details like encased elastic so nothing digs in uncomfortably.
And their quick-dry fabric is resistant to fading and degradation from chlorine and saltwater. If you’re looking for a stylish suit that feels amazing to wear, Monday Swimwear is it!
Beach Riot
Edgy, fashion-forward silhouettes and bold prints are Beach Riot’s specialty. They aren’t afraid to push the style envelope each season.
The Ellie Bikini Top is daringly chic with its plunging deep-V silhouette – perfect if you want to turn heads poolside! I love how they balance an edgy shape with flattering details like wide halter straps and light padding for support.
And their bottoms are designed to enhance your curves, not compress them. Beach Riot also uses cool fabrics like metallic fishnet and perforated neoprene. So their suits make bold visual statements. If you crave swimwear that’s sexy and bold, Beach Riot has you covered!
Skye & Staghorn
Skye & Staghorn creates gorgeous hand-embroidered swimsuits that are true works of art. Their designs are inspired by nature and have a boho goddess vibe I adore. Each suit feels so luxurious and special – it’s truly an investment piece to treasure.
Like their Daisy diamond bikini with 3D floral appliques, delicate beaded fringe, and embroidery. It looks like a fansy Coachella outfit! The mix of textures and handcrafted details is stunning.
And the lingerie-inspired shapes are so unique. Skye & Staghorn’s suits are made for lounging poolside at a chic boutique hotel or on a European yacht excursion. A style from them will make your vacation photos pop!
Mikoh
Mikoh is known for their super sexy crochet bikinis and monokinis. Their lacy designs and beachy bohemian vibe are gorgeous.
I love how they push style boundaries with their unique lacing, macrame, and hardware. The Aegea Monokini is one of my new faves – it has a sultry crochet halter neckline and an open back.
The colors are so summery too, like sherbet orange and aqua blue. Mikoh is ideal for music festivals, beach clubs, or weekends on the Amalfi Coast. Every woman looks and feels gorgeous lounging in one of their swimsuits!
Patagonia
Patagonia creates durable, performance-driven swimsuits perfect for outdoor adventures like surfing, kayaking, hiking and more. Their innovative fabrics are quick-drying, chlorine-resistant, and provide UPF 50+ sun protection.
So you can fully submerge yourself without your suit wearing out. I especially love their cross-back one piece suits with athletic racerback straps – great for mobility while still feeling secure.
The built-in shelf bras offer light padding and shaping too. If you’re looking for a swimsuit to climb mountains and ride waves in, Patagonia is your brand. Stay stylish while you explore the outdoors and beat the elements!
Bombshell Sportswear
Bombshell Sportswear designs functional, sexy swimsuits with tummy control, light padding, and support. Their fabrics even improve posture! As an athlete, these are my go-to suits for playing volleyball.
The Lexi bikini top is perfect – it has molded underwire cups with a racerback silhouette. So it keeps the girls secure during action. And the tummy control bottoms stay in place without digging in. Bombshell also uses performance fabrics designed for durability and comfort.
Their unique texturized fabric even helps hide lumps and bumps. So you feel confident rocking a bikini no matter your shape. Bombshell proves you can look and feel bombshell sexy even during sports!
Karla Colletto
Luxury designer Karla Colletto makes gorgeous swimwear with unique cuts and hardware detailing. Her suits have a glam, jet-set vibe and they’re made in the USA too.
I’d wear her Twist monokini in a heartbeat on a yacht vacation in Capri or Saint Tropez! It has a sexy one-shoulder neckline with a large statement gold ring.
The cutouts on the torso are so trendy and chic. And the fabric is super soft Italian jersey that hugs your curves. Colletto’s suits are an investment but make you look and feel like a million bucks. If you want iconic swimwear with a modern edge, she’s your woman!
Kona Sol
Kona Sol specializes in casual, boho-chic swimwear. Their styles have gorgeous prints, crochet details, and fabrics with texture. It’s a very laidback, beachy vibe.
The Flounce Triangle Bikini Top is too cute – the ruffle trim adds amazing flair. And I love the eclectic patterns they use, like vintage tropical flowers and abstract ikat prints.
Their fabrics are also designed for stretch and comfort, with details like removable soft cups for versatility. A Kona Sol swimsuit is perfect for a relaxing resort vacay or poolside cocktails with the girls. Slip one on and instantly feel transported to paradise!
Lenny
Lenny creates supportive swimsuits in youthful styles with retro touches. Their fabrics all have UPF 50+ sun protection too. The Freddie one piece is a new favorite – it’s so sexy yet secure enough for swimming and being active poolside.
The high-cut legs, deep V-neckline, and open back create a flirty pinup vibe. But the tummy control lining and light molded cups keep everything in place.
Lenny’s suits are made to be timeless too. Many of their tried-and-true silhouettes come back each season in updated colors and prints.
So you know you’re investing in a classic suit with longevity. If you want a swimsuit that’s hot yet functional for play, check out Lenny!
Lisa Marie Fernandez
Lisa Marie Fernandez makes these absolutely gorgeous, unique swimsuits from lux fabrics. Her suits are investments but so chic.
I’m crushing on her Leandra ruffled bikini lately – it has the most fabulous floaty vibe. The off-the-shoulder ruffle top is so flattering and the ruffle trim continues along the low-rise bottoms.
It looks like something a celebrity would wear lounging on a yacht in the French Riviera! Fernandez often uses Italian jersey fabric that feels like a second skin. And hardware details like rings, ropes, and clasps add modern edge. For iconic swimwear that oozes glamour, Lisa Marie Fernandez is it!
Solid & Striped
Solid & Striped makes the most stylish one-piece swimsuits that still manage to be sexy. Their tailored silhouettes and clean stripes are so chic.
Take their bestselling Anne-Marie style – it has a deep V-neckline that elongates the torso, cinched waist ruching for curves, and a scoop back. The Italian fabric also has four-way stretch for the perfect fit that moves with your body.
Beyond stripes, they offer cute colorblocked suits and floral prints too. The Eva off-shoulder one piece is a recent fave. It has a flirty ruffled neckline and low scoop back.
And the coral floral print feels so fresh and summery! Solid & Striped focuses on premium quality too – they use lux matte fabric that resists fading and Italian hardware that won’t corrode. Basically you get that designer look for half the price. These suits transition seamlessly from the beach to cocktails on the rooftop!
Toula
Greek brand Toula makes adorable embroidered swimsuits with tons of boho personality. The hand-stitched designs are inspired by nature, art, and mythology. Each suit tells a story and feels like a wearable piece of art.
I’m obsessing over their Daisy Sunshine Bikini with 3D floral appliques right now. It’s equal parts elegant and playful. Toula uses high-end fabrics from Italy and France with details like gold rings, fringe, and metallics.
Their mix of textures is so unique too – combining embroidery, macrame, lace, and crochet on a single suit. Toula’s sizes are also really inclusive, ranging from XS to XL.
Every woman can rock their beautiful suits! Toula’s swimwear turns heads at beach clubs, yacht parties, music festivals…anywhere you want to make a stylish statement really!
Salty K
Salty K creates trendy swimwear inspired by the Aussie beach lifestyle. They’re known for their printed one-pieces with cool cut-outs and edgy silhouettes.
Take their bestselling Storm style – it has a plunging neckline, open back, and cheeky bottoms. But the tummy control lining keeps you feeling secure.
The snake print fabric is super on-trend too. Salty K also does color blocking beautifully. Suits like the Maya have bold color combos that are so eye-catching against sun-kissed skin.
Their mix-and-match collections are another favorite. You can buy separates to design your own personalized bikini or one piece. And everything is made from their quick-dry fabric that resists fading in the sun and pool. If you crave swimwear that’s daring and beachy chic, check out Salty K!
Acacia
Sustainable brand Acacia makes eco-friendly swimsuits from recycled fabrics, like fishing nets and plastic bottles pulled from the ocean. But their suits are still sexy and stylish! I’m loving their bandeau tops and high-waisted bottoms with cheeky cutouts lately.
Acacia’s fabrics are quick-drying and feature UPF 50+ sun protection too. So you can swim and lounge in the sun care-free. They use responsible dyes as well that won’t bleed or pollute ocean ecosystems.
And certain styles give back to ocean conservation charities, which is awesome! Beyond one-pieces and bikinis, Acacia has gorgeous coverups like kimonos and sarongs.
And their prices are surprisingly affordable given the premium eco-fabrics. Feel gorgeous in a swimsuit that also benefits the planet with Acacia!
Minimale Animale
Luxe Italian brand Minimale Animale creates striking swimsuits with bold colors, edgy hardware, and unique details.
Their bikini tops often have cool chains, triangular shapes, and underwire support. While the bottoms sit super low on the hips – very sultry! I love their color palette of vivid corals, chartreuse, and cherry red. The suits just pop against the skin.
And the fabrics are premium quality, like quick-dry peached matte and super soft velvet. Minimale Animale’s designs are daringly sexy.
So they’re perfect if you want to make a statement on vacation, at the beach club, or on a friend’s yacht! Their unique suits will definitely turn heads wherever summer takes you.
