I still remember the first time I bought boxer briefs – I was soooo excited to finally ditch uncomfortable panties for breathable boxers.

But sadly, those Fruit of the Loom men’s hand-me-downs from my brother just didn’t fit right.

If only I’d known then what I know now about the amazing women’s boxer brands out there!

Here’s an interesting fact: sales of women’s boxers have skyrocketed over 300% in the last decade!

With all the options out there now, we ladies are spoiled for choice.

Let me walk you through my personal Woxer alternatives faves…

TomboyX

TomboyX is hands down my number one recommendation for quality and comfort.

Their boxers come in tons of fun prints like hearts, rainbows, and pineapples as well as solid colors like black, white, and blue.

They have both a 4.5 inch inseam and a 6 inch inseam so you can choose your preferred length.

The waistband is thick and stretchy without pinching or rolling. The fabric is super soft modal with up to 10% spandex for stretch.

Brands Similar to Woxer

This combination of softness and stretch makes them feel amazing – it’s like you’re wearing nothing at all! They also have a convenient fly opening which is great for going to the bathroom.

TomboyX has been my go-to for years because their boxers truly last – the fabric stands up to countless washes without losing its shape or softness.

If you’re looking for a boxer that is light, breathable, stretchy, and provides the ultimate comfort for all day wear, definitely try TomboyX!

Hanes Women’s Boxers

Hanes makes classic 100% cotton women’s boxers with that old school vibe. The waistband on Hanes is thin and flexible without any rubber or elastic that can get uncomfortable.

Brands Similar to Woxer

The fabric is soft cotton jersey knit that gets even softer over time. These have more of a traditional loose boxer fit rather than a tight compression fit.

I like to throw on a pair of Hanes on a lazy Sunday when I want something super soft, breathable, and lightweight.

The cotton is perfect if you tend to get hot and sweaty. Hanes also comes in packs of 3 or 5 if you want to stock up on the basics. For a budget-friendly cotton boxer option, you can’t go wrong with Hanes!

Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein is known for their comfortable underwear, so it’s no surprise their women’s boxers are amazing too.

They use ultra soft microfiber blends made from breathable fabrics like cotton, modal and elastane.

Brands Similar to Woxer

This creates a super smooth fit that contours your body but doesn’t cling. The waistband lays flat under clothes and prevents pinching or rolling while still staying put.

The inseam is around 5 inches. I really like Calvin Klein boxers for work days when you want minimal panty lines under slacks or pencil skirts.

They provide just the right amount of coverage and the fabric is thin enough to remain discreet under clothes without showing outlines.

Calvin Klein also has some options with lace accents if you want something a little sexier for date nights. Overall, CK makes a great women’s boxer if you want a trusted brand with a tailored fit.

MeUndies

If you like some flair in your underwear, MeUndies is so much fun! Their boxers come in the wildest prints like neon zig zags, polka dots, and animal prints ranging from dinosaurs to llamas.

Brands Similar to Woxer

The fabric itself is a soft stretched micro modal blended with elastane, designed to be breathable and moisture wicking.

I personally love MeUndies for lounging and sleeping because the fabrics are so incredibly soft while still keeping their shape after repeated washes.

The waistbands are thick and stretchy for comfort, plus they have flatlock seams to avoid any irritation.

And the prints just make me smile – it’s like wearing art! MeUndies also has some cool sustainability initiatives like using recycled water bottles to make their fabrics. So if you want a pair of super fun, unique boxers, definitely check out MeUndies!

SAXX

SAXX makes premium men’s underwear, but don’t let that stop you ladies from trying their amazing women’s boxers! SAXX stands out for their innovative boxer design that features a unique contoured pouch to keep everything in place.

Brands Similar to Woxer

They call it the “ballpark pouch”. This keeps your body parts separate with an extra breathable layer of mesh fabric between your legs. You definitely won’t get that awful sticking sensation.

The ballpark pouch makes SAXX boxers awesome for activities like working out, hiking, or jogging when things are moving around a lot down there! Aside from the unique pouch, SAXX uses lightweight, moisture-wicking and quick-drying fabrics like modal and spandex.

This keeps you cool, dry and comfortable. The waistbands also have a special anti-roll design that keeps them in place even through movement. For women looking for high quality performance boxers, SAXX is a top contender.

Duluth Trading Co.

Duluth Trading Co. is known for their durable workwear, so it’s no surprise their women’s boxers are made to last! Their boxer briefs feature a cotton-modal blend designed for both softness and longevity.

They hold their shape wash after wash without wearing out.

Duluth Trading Co. covers all the fit details too – the waistband is wide and stretchy to eliminate pinching and sagging.

The leg lengths come in regular 5 inch or long 7 inch inseams based on your height. You can even get some fun prints like buffalo check.

What I like best about their boxers is the softness of that cotton-modal fabric blend. It feels so smooth and cozy against your skin while still being opaque enough for good coverage.

For women looking for soft fabric, durable construction, and great fit, Duluth Trading Co. boxers deliver.

The CoolVent fabric is specially designed with mesh panels and ventilation channels to allow airflow.

Brands Similar to Woxer

This makes Jockey boxers ideal for workouts or long days on your feet when things can get hot and sweaty down there. The fabric is a stretchy microfiber that moves with your body. The waistband is flexible and wide enough to eliminate pinching and rolling.

One of my favorite features is the tagless design – no more annoying scratchy tags down there! Jockey boxers also retain their shape and performance through repeated washing. For any ladies seeking moisture-wicking performance boxers, Jockey has you covered.

Under Armour

Under Armour brings their workout expertise to women’s boxers with fast-drying, ultra-soft HeatGear fabric. This material contains elastane for serious four-way stretch that allows maximum mobility. The open hand feel is silky smooth and featherlight.

The HeatGear fabric actually keeps you cooler as your body heats up by wicking sweat away to the surface. I love Under Armour’s boxers for exercise because they never chafe or get clingy, even during intense training.

The wide waistband provides a comfortable stretch fit without digging in or constricting your tummy.

Under Armour also makes these boxers with an anti-odor technology to help prevent bacterial buildup that causes odors. For staying cool, dry, and chafe-free during workouts, Under Armour’s HeatGear boxers are fantastic.

Lively

If you like the sustainability of natural fibers, Lively makes cute seamless boxers from bamboo-derived rayon.

This rayon fabric is supersoft, breathable, and temperature regulating. Bamboo fabrics are also eco-friendly as the bamboo plants are highly renewable and require little water to grow and process. Lively adds spandex for the perfect amount of stretch that keeps its shape all day.

Brands Similar to Woxer

I’m also obsessed with Lively’s seamless design – the edges are laser cut so there are zero bulky seams that can irritate your skin. If you want an earth-friendly boxer made from silk-soft bamboo rayon, Lively is a fabulous option.

Amazon Essentials

For a basic cotton boxer at an affordable price point, Amazon Essentials is a great choice. These are made from a soft washed cotton jersey knit with a hint of stretchy spandex for flexibility. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, making them perfect for everyday wear.

I like that the leg openings have elastic cuffs to prevent riding up. The waistband is wide enough for comfort without pinching or sagging throughout your day.

With the Amazon Essentials boxers, you get that quintessential cotton feel and tomboy look without paying premium prices.

They hold up well through machine washing too. I like to have them on hand as my casual go-to when I want something basic and budget-friendly. If you want an inexpensive, everyday cotton boxer, Amazon Essentials is a winner.

Pair of Thieves

Pair of Thieves makes a women’s boxer brief designed to feel like you’re not wearing anything at all, with the tagline “Feels Like Going Commando… Only Better.” They use ultra-soft micro-modal with elastane for a barely-there feel.

The micro-modal provides an exceptionally breathable and lightweight feel. There are no irritating tags, just a printed logo inside the waistband. The legs have targeted ventilation panels for added airflow.

Pair of Thieves really focuses on making boxers disappear under clothes – the waistband is designed to lie flat and eliminate panty lines.

The fabric is thin but not see through. For a boxer that feels like next-to-nothing for seamless wear under slim silhouettes, Pair of Thieves is awesome. You honestly forget you have them on!

Rhone

While marketed toward men, Rhone’s boxers work great for women too. They construct their boxers from ultra-lightweight modal with a hint of spandex for stretch. This creates a luxuriously soft hand feel. The fabric is quick-drying, moisture-wicking, and breathable.

I like that Rhone offers both solid colors and subtle patterns like houndstooth that look nice if they peek out from under pants or shorts. They have a laid-back tailored fit without too much excess fabric. The covered waistband stays put comfortably without twisting or pinching throughout your day.

For women seeking a high-end modal boxer in masculine-inspired prints, Rhone is a good pick. The material is so exceptionally lightweight and smooth.
