Peter Millar is known for their high-quality, performance golf apparel that looks great both on and off the course.

Price-wise, they’re about 25% cheaper than Travis Mathew.
One of my favorite shirts from Peter Millar is the Crown Crafted polo which uses a lightweight, breathable mini mesh fabric that stretches in all directions.
It comes in some really nice colorblock designs and color combos that pair well with shorts or pants.
I also like the Crown Sport polo which has silicone gripper tape on the shoulders to keep your polo in place.
Peter Millar’s shorts and pants use comfortable performance fabrics too – the Crown Flex golf pants have just the right amount of stretch for a full range of motion.
Overall, Peter Millar might cost a bit more than some other brands on this list, but the quality and performance tech is worth it in my opinion.
Holderness & Bourne
This newer brand makes responsive golf wear with stretch fabrics, sleek silhouettes, and subtle style. Their polos and pants look sharp but move with you thanks to innovative materials.
H&B’s prices are usually around 30-40% less than T.M.
One of my personal favorites from Holderness & Bourne is the Major polo which uses a textured mini-mesh fabric that is so soft and breathable.
It comes in solids and stripes that pair well with the brand’s stretch twill pants and shorts.
I also like their Cirrus polo which has a sueded finish for an ultra-soft handfeel.
It utilizes moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant, and stretch fabrics to maximize comfort and performance.
The Monroe pant is a best-seller with its premium stretch for mobility and moisture-wicking properties to keep you cool and dry.
Holderness & Bourne’s clothes are made for athletic builds – their tailored but not overly tight cuts allow for easy movement during your swing or when walking the course.
And at prices usually 40% less than Travis Mathew, it’s a great value too.
Greyson
Greyson uses sustainable materials like recycled polyester to craft their golf essentials.
I’m a big fan of their Cloudbreak polos that wick moisture and resist wrinkles – perfect for looking sharp even after 18 holes! Greyson prices are very reasonable, generally 50% less than Travis Mathew.
One of my go-to polos from Greyson is the Cloudbreak which is made from recycled polyester in a textured mini-pique stitch.

Original Penguin
Known for their iconic penguin logo, Original Penguin offers retro-inspired golf attire with modern functionality.
Their polos come in trim fits with smart details like contrast tipping. Expect to pay around 25% less than T.M. prices.
One of Penguin’s most popular polos for golf is The Earl, a cotton pique polo with a slim/tailored fit and the signature embroidered penguin logo.
I like how it comes in a wide range of heritage-inspired colors and patterns that provide a vintage vibe.

I’m a huge fan of Fairway & Greene’s Bedford polo which uses a performance cotton pique knit that wicks moisture away from your skin.

The F&G Cool18 polo is also awesome, utilizing Ultrafresh moisture-wicking fabric with mesh inserts to maximize airflow and cooling.
For bottoms, the Preston short and Cameron pant work well with their stretch fabrics in preppy plaids, stripes and solids. At prices around 35% less expensive than Travis Mathew, Fairway & Greene delivers classic golf style and performance at lower price points.
J. Lindeberg
Favored by European tour pros, J. Lindeberg makes athletic golf wear with premium tech fabrics. Their polos feature excellent stretch and sweat-wicking properties to keep you cool and dry.
Expect to pay 20-30% less than T.M. One of my personal favorites from J. Lindeberg is the Zone polo shirt which uses a quick-dry fabric that stretches in four directions for maximum range of motion.
I also like the Hoyt polo which utilizes a mercerized cotton pique knit for softness, breathability, and moisture-wicking performance. For bottoms, J. Lindeberg’s Nevis flat front short is awesome with its lightweight, flexible fabric that moves with you.

Williams & Fudge
This new Australian brand combines a laidback Aussie vibe with high-tech materials. Their polos utilize quick-dry, odor-resistant fabrics that feel great. W&F prices tend to be 40-50% cheaper than Travis Mathew.
One of my favorite polos from Williams & Fudge is the Bondi Quickdry polo made from a lightweight polyester that wicks moisture and dries super fast. It’s got UV protection too which is great for sunny days on the course.
I also like their Coogee poly/cotton polo which has an enzyme treatment to reduce odors, perfect for all-day wear. For bottoms, Williams & Fudge’s Manly short features four-way stretch for ease of movement during your swing.

Linksoul
Founded by John Ashworth, Linksoul features classic golf style with modern fits. Their short sleeve and long sleeve polos look sharp on the course.
Pricing is around 30% lower than T.M. One of my favorites from Linksoul is the Mayer polo which comes in some cool camo prints as well as solids.
It uses a lightweight, breathable cotton-blend fabric. I’m also a big fan of their Trenton polo shirt which has subtle mesh venting for breathability and stretch built in for mobility. Linksoul makes awesome pants too like the Brooklyn straight fit chino which allows great freedom of movement.

Known for performance athletic wear, Adidas makes some killer golf apparel too. Their Ultimate365 polos utilize sweat-wicking Climalite fabric with Stretch fabrics. Expect to pay 35%+ less than Travis Mathew.
One of my go-to Adidas golf shirts is the Ultimate365 3-Stripes polo which uses ultra-soft, quick-drying Climalite fabric to keep you cool and dry. It has moisture-wicking sweat-wicking tech and stretch to allow unrestricted movement – critical for an effective golf swing.
Another favorite is the Adicross polo which utilizes stretchy fabric made from recycled ocean plastic – love the sustainability story.

One of my favorite Under Armour golf shirts is the Qualifier polo which uses ultra-soft anti-odor fabric that stretches four ways for unrestricted mobility – an absolute must for any golfer. It also has UPF 30 sun protection.
