View More Inspo

It all started a few months ago when I ran out of my usual shampoo and made the impulse swap to a fancy schmancy all-natural brand.

I won’t name drop, but let’s just say it was spendy!

While it made my hair feel glorious, my wallet was crying.

That got me thinking – there MUST be affordable options out there with that same clean formula I’d come to love.

I’m happy to report my hunt was a success, and I uncovered a bunch of great brands similar to Public Goods that won’t break your bank:

Acure

Acure makes wonderful organic and vegan hair care products including shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products.

Their formulas contain botanical ingredients like argan oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. Prices range from $6-$12 per product which is very reasonable. Acure is cruelty-free, paraben-free, and 100% vegan.

One of my favorites from Acure is the radically rejuvenating shampoo and conditioner.

This shampoo is loaded with quinoa protein and antioxidants from ingredients like olive leaf extract and white tea extract to strengthen and nourish hair.

The conditioner has a rich, indulgent feel thanks to nourishing argan oil, coconut oil, and pumpkin seed oil.

My hair feels soft, smooth and manageable after using this duo. The earthy herbal scent is light and pleasant too.

Another great option is Acure’s curly hair shampoo and conditioner.

These are specially formulated for wavy, curly, and coily hair types and contain baobab protein and argan oil to add definition and cut down on frizz.

I love the lightweight moisture these provide without weighing my curls down. And the creamy coconut scent smells like a tropical vacation!

Acure also has a nice selection of hair masks and treatments like their ultra-hydrating argan stem cell therapy mask.
